What to include in a brief

  • What the product does, in a paragraph. Plain words are better than a pitch.
  • Who it is for and where: country, languages, and whether Arabic is required.
  • Platforms: iOS, Android, web, or not sure yet. Not sure is a fine answer.
  • What exists today: designs, a prototype, a live product, or nothing.
  • Timeline and any fixed dates, such as a launch event or a funding milestone.
  • Budget range, if you have one. It helps us propose the right first release.
